Maltese Married Catholic Priest

COME AS YOU ARE!

Are you a baptized person? Do you feel far away from God? Is there any situation in your life for which you feel you cannot go to church? Do wish to get married in the Catholic Church even though they told you it's impossible? Are you committed in a lesbian/gay/trans relationship? Are you in love with a priest?  Are you a priest who fell in love? Do you feel the need to exchange your spiritual experiences without being judged? Then this is your site...

Can a woman marry a Priest?

We are presenting an article where a woman asks if she has the right to marry a priest.  Although it's written by somebody who has not studied theology, we welcome such article because some people use other talents to come to the same conclusion ie that a married man can give a unique contribution in the church.  We always insist that when a priest falls in love with a woman, he is born again!  He can have a new energy to serve the church.

Women of the Gospel is another forward thinking article where we see the gospel with new eyes.  It's not that we wish to favour women.  It's not that women are crazy for attention or power but it's written in the gospel!  Yet cultural influences have interfered with our way of reading and interpreting the gospel.

The son of a priest and a nun is another interesting article.  What happens to the children of priests?  Do they love the church?  Are they anti-clerical?  Do they talk to God?  How do they view the church?

The article Old School is written by somebody who says that he has left the church.  What is important is that he asks some interesting questions and discusses in a mature way some short comings in the church.  Are we ready to listen?

Houses of prayer suggests a very common pastoral strategy: let's go for family gathering in our parishes.  Let's turn our houses into temples of prayer instead of building large and huge churches.  Let's go to the early years in the life of the church.

Setting and reaching our goals is another article which should help us in our pastoral activities.  Pastoral work is not simply another work.  It's the only link most people have with God.  Meeting a person even for just a few seconds in our pastoral work, may mean a greater faith or simply discarding of religion or any other thing relating to God.

Umberto Lenzi joined the Lord in heaven.  He was a truly a shinning example of married priesthood.  I had a phone call from him once.  He was truly all in favour of married priesthood. Let's not forget him in our prayers.

I was interviewed by Fay regarding many things in the Catholic church.  Well, you can read it for yourself in: http://tinyurl.com/ar3lk

Now it's proven scientifically that celibacy has to do with sexual abuse.  This is a research work which took about 10 years to complete.  Just go to books for those who wish to go deep down on any particular subject.
